What’s the difference between the Yealink A40-031 and A40-010?

The A40-031 includes the CTP25 touch console and desktop stand. The A40-010 is the remote-control bundle. Choose the A40-031 when you want a dedicated tabletop or wall-mounted meeting controller instead of relying primarily on a handheld remote. 

Does the Yealink A40-031 require a separate room computer?

No. The A40-031 runs Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android on the video bar, so native meetings do not require a separate Windows room PC. A laptop is only needed when someone chooses to use wired BYOD mode. 

Can the Yealink MeetingBar A40 support two displays?

Yes. The A40 supports dual 4K display configurations as well as a single display. The mounting position and display connections should be planned before installation so the camera retains the required view of the seating area. 

Can you add extra microphones to the Yealink A40?

Yes. It supports up to two compatible expansion microphones, such as VCM35 or VCM36-W units, or up to two compatible ceiling microphones. Microphone types should not be mixed, and ceiling-audio deployments may require separate compatible speakers and networking hardware.
